Volunteer With KC PAWS

Behind every rescue story is a team of compassionate people who made it possible.

Our volunteers are the heart of KC PAWS. Whether you're walking dogs, helping at events, taking photos, organizing donations, or simply spending time with dogs who need a friend, every hour you give has a lasting impact.

No matter your experience or availability, there's a place for you here. Together, we're giving dogs the second chances they deserve.

Corporate or Group Days

Looking for a Meaningful Team-Building Experience?

Bring your coworkers together while making a real difference for dogs in need.

KC PAWS welcomes corporate volunteer groups, community organizations, clubs, schools, and other teams looking to give back. Whether you're helping with landscaping, organizing donations, facility improvement projects, enrichment activities, or preparing for special events, your group's time and talents make an immediate impact.

Corporate volunteer days are a fun, hands-on way to strengthen your team while supporting a local nonprofit and the thousands of dogs who rely on us each year.

We can tailor projects to fit your group's size, interests, and schedule, making every volunteer day both rewarding and memorable.

Ready to plan your volunteer day? We'd love to work with you! Contact our Volunteer Coordinator at Daniel.kcpaws@gmail.com to schedule your group's visit and start making a difference together.

Why Volunteer?

When you volunteer with KC PAWS, you're doing so much more than lending a helping hand.

You're helping shy dogs build confidence through positive interactions. You're giving energetic dogs the exercise and enrichment they need. You're helping us keep our facility running smoothly, supporting adoption events, and creating more opportunities for dogs to find loving homes.

Whether you can volunteer once a month or several times a week, your time truly changes lives.
